Ritmo is a boy who is autistic. Ritmo is an autistic boy. It just works better, in the ‘90s. Especially when the one who created the character Ritmo doesn’t even know they are autistic, barely even knows something like that exists.
The occupant retrospectively places Ritmo in the realm of that knowledge. Ritmo says without hesitation: "I am just me." No one doubts Ritmo. And even if someone does, it doesn’t matter, because Ritmo doesn’t doubt themselves. Ritmo is a perfect boy, and a perfect autistic boy, and a perfect nerd, and a perfect teenager, whose life can go as the occupant wants it to go, unfolding in a planned way.
